Wound of Briccius Future King by Mari Lwyd is an interesting album for me personally. When I first heard it, it sounded remarkable similar to Fief. After a while however, it started to come into its own. Perhaps it was inspired by Fief, but the addition of Welsh history and legend easily make it stand out. A great album for any fan of the "lighter" dungeon synth. One of my personal favorites! Favorite track: Ascend the Throne.

hallowedhalls A courageous journey passing through sweetness and sorrow. The best albums tell a story, flowing from one page to the next and this is accomplished here. Favorite track: Solace in the Hall Of Kings.

stormcrow79 Hit play and thought that I was listening to a great medieval-DS album...but, when Mari Lwyd brings in those high fantasy vibes, I realized one of 2019's masterpieces was spinning in my player. It's like hearing Jethro Tull or Led Zeppelin leavin' the bluesy stuff behind for a while, and makin'it Epic Dungeon Synth.
Perfect hooks and overlaid melodies are rendered through a crystal production like a great fantasy soundtrack from the good old days. All hail Mari Lwyd! Favorite track: King's Peace.
